Clore Center receives $16K from fundraiser

The ride, in its second year, gives participants a look at Washingtons grape-growing regions.
This years participants explored wineries and vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley American Viticultural Area. The trip included lunch at Northstar Winery prepared by Prosser chef Frank Magaña (Picazo 7Seventeen), a tasting at Leonetti Cellar and an evening of festivities played host to by Dunham Cellars.
Next years ride is scheduled to take participants to Lake Chelan, the states newest AVA.
Last years inaugural ride through the Yakima Valley, Horse Heaven Hills and Red Mountain AVAs raised $12,500 for the Clore Center.
