Snoqualmie's Naked wines

On March 28-29, the Washington State Convention & Trade Center played host to the second annual Seattle Green Festival, a joint project of Global Exchange and Green America. Snoqualmie Vineyards of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates continues to market its "Naked" line of wines from organically produced grapes at "green" events. Managing Editor Eric Degerman caught up with Ste. Michelle's Gracie Doyle, who was pouring Joy Andersen's wines inside the organic beer and wine garden. Snoqualmie was the only Northwest wine featured at the event. Later that day, Alice Waters, founder of the acclaimed Chez Panisse restaurant in Berkeley, Calif., delivered a keynote presentation at the festival.

Today, Snoqualmie will debut its 2008 organic Riesling at the April Seattle Greendrinks event from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Magnolia Roosevelt, 6309 Roosevelt Ave. N.E. in Seattle.
